Greetings,
All of you visiting this page are equally important to me than anybody else, and to reciprocate the same feeling, I am here to give you more opportunity to know me better, and I will also get to know you once we connect to explore possibilities of ensuring a credit entry in our Social Capital Accounts.
I am here to narrate my story in my own words, which will give you a better peek into my journey instead of knowing me in bits and pieces which you can still do by visiting my social media handles here.
40 and most optimistically have another 40 odd years to create a difference in the world
and lives around me, I think time is short and
I have to rush.
First Innings – 1980 – 2018
What I have done till now, may not be a list worth pondering upon but, I am proud of it because of the fact, that it gave me enough confidence to begin the second innings.
First Spell
Having invested first 22 years of life in academics – I think the only thing I learned is to make myself able to communicate with confidence. Rest all gamma, theta, beta, calculus, organic chemistry, integration and differentiation died their own death in my mind just waiting for their turn to come to be used at some stage or other. And now I am pretty sure they are not needed for me except for the occasion when my son asks me a couple of questions during his years of academics. A diploma in Automobile and an engineering degree in Mechanical may be the 2 precious wickets I took in my first spell, when life was batting beautifully to all the balls I hurled upon it.
Second Spell
A corporate life with 2 leading Auto OEMs at various lower, middle and senior management level, this spell was like a flash where years keep passing by and leaving behind them, some additions in professionalism and domain knowledge. On professional front a highlight was, an executive MBA in Operations and many more certificates in various skills including a graduation in Psychology.
But what I will rate much higher in terms of my wickets which got added during this second spell was getting married to Ranjana and having in life my son, partner and friend – Mihir. This probably is the best that could have happened to me and am sure will be behind all what I am and will be able to deliver in this short time of may be 40 off years left with me.
Second Innings – 2018 and continuing
This is when I started batting to the balls thrown at me by life. Getting evolved from just an operations man to an entrepreneur trying to get expertise in all domains, it took me almost a year to come to a level wherein I was starting to get satisfied with myself. The tags of Consultant, Advisor, Process Re-Engineering Expert, Networker and most importantly a friend came to exist besides my name from here on.
In this second innings I have been fortunate enough to partner with many inspirational individuals who not only helped me to learn & unlearn, grow as an individual & entrepreneur, focus on the values, boost confidence in myself and my actions, evolve as a speaker, emulate them, have a strong social capital account, be firm on my stands and over and above that a helping hand within my capacity.
The innings is in play currently with every new moment, every new interaction and every new individual whom I come across bringing a new adaptability and class to my style of batting and I am hopeful to learn a leaf or two from the interaction with you as well.
